If you've used Twitter, you've probably hit the 140 character limit on your messages. Longtweet allows you to post longer than 140 characters.
It has been done before. But what longtweet doesn't do, is ask you to grant permissions to your Twitter account. It's simple and safe.
If you like longtweet, why not click a button below and tell your friends? Also, feel free to contact me and tell me what you think.
Once you type your really long message and hit the Tweet button, you can review your shortened message in the standard twitter share dialog.
Notice your message will have a nifty URL appended to the end. That link redirects your readers to view the full message. Your longtweets are hosted with tinypaste.com.
You don't have to. I created longtweet so I could write longer messages. The utility is useful, so I wanted to share the love.
With that in mind, when you use longtweet, you understand there are no guarantees or warranties or support or anything. I'm providing it as-is.
Also, the tweets on tinypaste.com could possibly expire someday. It's possible they might do some housekeeping and your tweets will dissolve into the sweet sweet ether, never to be seen again.
As said before, there is no guarantee on data or service.
